About Melia
Melia maintains a broad civil litigation practice with particular experience in complex construction disputes and commercial matters, routinely assisting owners, trades and consultants with building contract disputes, performance and workmanship issues, builders' liens, insurance claims and payment disputes. She also handles property and business disputes, including shareholder remedies, and appears before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Provincial Court as well as through mediation and arbitration. She completed her articles and practised with a leading regional Vancouver firm focused on insurance defence litigation before joining Rush Ihas Hardwick LLP in 2020.
