About Michael

Michael A.F. Devito is an associate lawyer at Beard Winter LLP whose practice covers civil and commercial litigation, including bodily injury defence, coverage disputes, subrogation, occupiers' liability and construction litigation. He previously summered and articled with the firm before being called to the bar in 2024. Michael obtained his J.D. at Western University in 2023 and received the Michael Allen Harte Award for his contributions to student life there, having held leadership roles including president of the Real Estate Law Association and co-chair of In Vino Veritas. Before law school he graduated magna cum laude from York University with a Bachelor of Arts.
