About Alexander

Alexander J.D. Curry is a partner and civil litigator whose practice is devoted entirely to insurance defence. He has a particular interest in disability matters, including long-term disability, critical illness, mortgage life, and life insurance claims, along with coverage disputes and statutory accident benefits work. Alex has conducted hundreds of examinations for discovery involving coverage disputes, subrogation, property and casualty claims, motor vehicle accidents, construction litigation, products liability, and professional negligence. He has represented clients at jury and non-jury trials, motions, appeals, pretrials, and mediations across Ontario, and co-manages Beard Winter's Articling Program. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2006, holding an LL.B. from the University of Calgary and a B.A. (Hons.) from the University of Toronto.
