About Alessia
Alessia Channell is an associate lawyer in Beard Winter's litigation group, practicing primarily in insurance defence, and she previously articled with the firm. She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Windsor, and during law school she worked at a boutique civil litigation firm where she gained experience with personal injury, employment, and commercial litigation as well as accident benefit, long-term disability, and property damage claims. Before law school, Alessia earned a Bachelor of Arts with honours in political science, along with a professional certificate in public administration and law, from York University. She was called to the bar in 2025.
