About Alexander
Alex Wilkinson is a partner in Beard Winter's Insurance Litigation group and has represented domestic and international insurers since 2013, focusing on life and health claims, occupiers' liability, professional negligence, commercial and social host liability, and motor vehicle accident claims. His professional negligence work includes defending physiotherapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and paralegals in errors and omissions matters, and he also acts for a large school board and its staff on negligent supervision and student safety claims. He was recognized in The Best Lawyers in Canada in 2023 for personal injury litigation. Alex holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Ottawa, a JD from Michigan State University College of Law, and a BA with honours from the University of Toronto's St. Michael's College. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 2013 and in Alberta in 2025.
