About Meghan

Meghan King is a partner in McInnes Cooper's St. John's office, concentrating on bankruptcy and insolvency matters alongside general corporate and commercial work, residential and commercial real estate, and banking and financial services with a focus on lending. She represents clients including major banks and private lenders on commercial loan transactions, advising on loan security structures, conducting searches, and preparing and negotiating security documents. Meghan is a board member of the Restaurant Association of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Land Committee of the Roman Catholic Episcopal Corporation of St. John's, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador. She holds an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick, an earlier LL.B. from the University of Leicester, and a B.A. from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar in 2012.
