About Julia

Julia is a partner in the Saint John office who works with banks and other clients on commercial and residential real estate acquisitions, financings, leasing, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. She also handles contract drafting, regulatory compliance, and environmental matters, drawing on prior litigation experience to help clients balance risk mitigation with practical business needs. Her work has included representing mortgage lenders in financing and refinancing commercial and multi-unit residential properties, advising national lenders on security realization and insolvency issues, and acting for landlords in commercial lease negotiations. She earned her J.D. from the University of New Brunswick in 2012 and a B.A. from St. Thomas University in 2009, and was called to the bar in New Brunswick in 2013 and Ontario in 2022. Julia is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and serves as president of the Saint John Law Society.
