About Max

Max Rothschild practises entertainment, music, digital media and intellectual property law, handling transactional matters, IP enforcement and copyright advice for emerging and established artists, music publishers, record labels and copyright collectives. Before joining the firm, he worked in-house for the Canadian Musical Reproduction Rights Agency and practised as an associate at Bereskin & Parr LLP, giving him experience on both sides of the table. He sits on the board of Artists' Legal Advice Services and serves as corporate secretary for Interactive Ontario, a trade association supporting the province's interactive digital media industry. Max was called to the Ontario bar in 2014 after earning his J.D. from Dalhousie University and his B.A. from McGill University.
