About Lubaina

Lubaina Baloch represents clients across the energy, construction, infrastructure, transportation, and insurance sectors in commercial disputes including breaches of contract, builders' liens, construction delays and deficiencies, and insurance coverage and defence. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2023, holding a J.D. from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Nursing with distinction, also from the University of Calgary, along with a Certificate in Construction Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. Before pursuing law, Lubaina worked as a registered nurse in cardiology and internal medicine, experience she draws on in her litigation practice. She volunteers with Pro Bono Law Alberta's Civil Claims Duty Counsel and the Afghan Women Judges Relocation Project.
