About Damon
Damon Bailey, K.C. is a labour lawyer who assists unionized employers with collective bargaining, agreement interpretation, discipline, and grievances, and helps non-union employers with contracts, terminations, and defending wrongful dismissal and human rights claims. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 1994 after earning his LL.B. and B.Comm. with great distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, and was appointed King's Counsel in 2016. Damon has more than 50 reported arbitration decisions involving discipline and discharge matters, has appeared at every level of Alberta court, and regularly appears before the Alberta Labour Relations Board. He represents employers across sectors including retail, manufacturing, aviation, oil and gas, health care, and education.
