About Mike

Mike is a partner at ATAC LAW and both a lawyer and professional engineer, licensed in British Columbia and Ontario. He focuses on construction and engineering law, appearing before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia on behalf of owners, contractors and developers. He also acts as a mediator and arbitrator in construction and commercial disputes, holding Qualified Mediator and Qualified Arbitrator designations with ADRBC. Before practising law, he worked as a project and consulting engineer in the energy and renewable energy sectors. He earned his Bachelor and Master of Applied Science from the University of Ottawa and his Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2014. UBC has appointed him an adjunct professor, where he has taught professional engineering practice, and he sits on the university's Senate, adjudicating academic discipline appeals.
