About Joshua

Joshua was called to the bar in 2025 and rejoined Cambridge after finishing his articles with the firm's business and constitutional advocacy litigation groups. As an articling student he drafted extensively on defamation, professional negligence, and statutory appeals, along with real estate and business disputes, which remain his focus areas today. He has appeared before the Landlord and Tenant Tribunal and Small Claims Court and drew on his academic background for research on complex constitutional matters. Joshua holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University, where he won the De Grandpre Chait LLP prize for real estate law and worked as a research assistant in comparative family property. He also holds a Master of Arts in English Literature from York University and spent years working as a carpenter between his academic pursuits.
