About Lesley

Lesley Caswell is a partner whose practice centers on patent clearance and validity opinions along with patent litigation, particularly impeachment actions and disputes under the PM(NOC) Regulations. Her work focuses on chemistry and pharmaceutical sciences, and she has significant experience counseling pharmaceutical companies on intellectual property and regulatory issues. She has worked on notable IP cases involving Teva, Sanofi-Aventis and Novopharm. She is a registered Canadian patent agent and belongs to both the American Bar Association and the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. She earned her law degree from the University of Victoria in 1999 and holds an honours science degree in chemistry from the University of British Columbia.
