About Jonathan

Jonathan Giraldi is a partner at Aitken Klee with more than ten years of courtroom experience handling intellectual property disputes. He helps clients understand and enforce their rights, having appeared at every stage of litigation including trials and appeals before the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal. His work spans pharmaceuticals, environmental remediation, medical devices, consumer goods and electrical devices, and he has acted as counsel for both plaintiffs and defendants in several high-profile damages actions, including matters involving abiraterone, pregabalin and a patent dispute against Google. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of Waterloo (2005) and a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School (2010). He belongs to the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and the Canadian Bar Association.
