About Leonie

Leonie van Haeren is a litigator at Ross Nasseri LLP whose practice covers a broad range of civil and regulatory matters, including disputes over corporate relationships, property interests, employment and contractual rights. She has handled files involving real estate transactions, shareholder and co-ownership disagreements, wrongful dismissal, and the splitting of jointly owned assets, along with regulatory and provincial offences proceedings. Early in her career she secured two reported decisions within her first year of practice. Before joining the firm, she gained experience at the Crown Attorney's Office, Community Legal Services of Ottawa, and Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Leonie earned her JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Ottawa and previously worked in international affairs roles with the federal government.
