About Daniel

Daniel Nishiguchi came on as an associate at Teplitsky LLP once he wrapped up his articling term there. His litigation practice touches on employment matters, insurance disputes, commercial leasing, real estate, land development, construction litigation and neighbour disputes. He holds a J.D. from the University of Windsor and a second J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy, both earned before he joined the firm. While in law school, he volunteered with Windsor Community Legal Aid, helping clients with landlord-tenant issues, and he also gave two semesters to the Veterans Law Clinic in Detroit, where he helped U.S. military veterans pursue disability claims before the Department of Veterans Affairs. Before attending law school, he earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from Carleton University, focusing on business law. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022.
