About Kevin

Kevin Fisher is a litigation partner with more than 25 years of experience acting for clients across several industries before all levels of court. That commercial litigation work includes oppression remedy proceedings, the appointment of receivers and managers, fraud investigations, debtor-creditor and insolvency matters, and commercial real estate and development disputes, along with private arbitrations. Kevin also represents employees in wrongful dismissal and employment matters, including cases under the Canada Labour Code. Fisher has a substantial intellectual property practice before the Federal Court of Canada, covering copyright and trademark protection, data protection, and disputes involving pay-per-view sporting broadcasts, software, and internet programming. Kevin earned a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1993 and was called to the Ontario bar in 1996.
