About Avi

Avi Bourassa is a partner at Ross Nasseri LLP with a general civil litigation practice emphasizing contractual disputes, shareholder and oppression matters, and civil fraud, including urgent injunctive relief. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including at lengthy trials, and before tribunals such as the Discipline Committee of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, as well as in private commercial arbitrations. Before joining Ross Nasseri in 2021, he spent five years as a litigation associate at McCarthy Tetrault. Avi has been recognized by Chambers Canada for general commercial litigation and listed in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. He received his JD with honours from the University of Toronto in 2015 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2016.
