About Eric

Eric Brousseau is a partner at Ross Nasseri with a busy civil, commercial, and regulatory litigation practice. He appears at every level of court in Ontario, has more than 65 reported decisions, and was named Benchmark's Emerging Talent Litigator of the Year for Ontario in 2023. His work covers oppression remedy claims, shareholder disputes, director and officer liability, professional negligence, employment disputes, defamation, and fraud, and he regularly seeks or defends Mareva, Norwich, and Anton Piller orders. Eric also served as Commission counsel to the Public Order Emergency Commission led by Justice Paul Rouleau, and he represents clients before regulators including the Ontario Securities Commission, CIRO, FSRAO, and the Law Society of Ontario. Before joining Ross Nasseri, he practiced for several years at Polley Faith LLP in Toronto. He holds a BCL/LLB from McGill University and was called to the Ontario bar in 2015. Eric is bilingual and practices in both French and English.
