About Kristaq

Kris focuses his practice on helping construction industry trade unions establish and enforce collective bargaining rights. He draws on his knowledge of Ontario Labour Relations Board rules to guide unions through organizing drives and certification applications, aiming to reduce time spent in litigation while advancing union interests. Once a union is certified, he helps enforce bargaining rights and protect members' job security, and he is frequently called on to litigate unfair labour practice complaints, related employer applications, jurisdictional disputes, and construction industry grievances. Kris also advises unions on public policy and law reform issues, including a recent Board policy review addressing certification in northern Ontario.
