About David
David practices trial and appellate advocacy in commercial litigation, medical malpractice and personal injury actions. His practice areas include disputes arising from partnerships, breach of contract, insolvency proceedings, complex employment disputes, property rights, nuisance, professional negligence (physicians, hospitals, accountants, engineers), banking litigation, motor vehicle accidents and general personal injury claims for people who have been seriously and catastrophically injured. He frequently appears before all levels of the court in Ontario including the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, in addition to representing clients in private arbitrations and before administrative boards and tribunals. David and Jerome Morse founded Morse Trafford LLP in 2024. David's career began at the predecessor firm Morse Shannon LLP where he first articled under the mentorship of Jerome Morse and Michael Shannon in 2014.
