About Kimberley

Kimberley (Kim) Turner, K.C., advises clients in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, with a practice focused on professional regulation, union-side labour law, employment law, and non-profit law. She is a sought-after speaker at labour law and professional regulation conferences and provides in-house client training, and has been recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for Labour and Employment Law and Legal Malpractice Law, including being named the 2014 Best Labour Lawyer in Halifax. She received her Queen's Counsel (now King's Counsel) designation in 2002 and serves on several Nova Scotia Barristers' Society committees, including the Professional Responsibility and Professional Practices Committee and the Ethics Advisory Committee. She has chaired the NSBS Continuing Professional Development working group and served on the Bar Exam Screening Committee. She earned her LL.B. from Dalhousie University and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 1985 and the Prince Edward Island bar in 1991.
