About Ashley

Ashley is a partner practising in litigation, administrative law, employment law, and Aboriginal law. She has handled Aboriginal rights litigation and professional liability claims, and has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Nova Scotia and New Brunswick Courts of Appeal, and the Federal Court. Her administrative law practice includes judicial review, human rights matters, and professional regulation before tribunals such as the Nova Scotia Police Review Board. Ashley obtained her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2014 and was named a Lexpert Leading Legal Practitioner in Aboriginal law in 2023 and a Lexpert Rising Star in 2024. She co-chairs the firm's Equity and Diversity Committee and teaches part-time at Schulich.
