About Caroline
Caroline North is an associate at Arvay Finlay LLP, called to the bar in both Ontario and British Columbia in 2020. She focuses on appellate and judicial review advocacy, with experience in administrative, constitutional, criminal, and Aboriginal law. She clerked at the Supreme Court of Canada and the Court of Appeal for British Columbia, and completed practicums at the Ontario Court of Justice and Prisoners' Legal Services. She holds a JD from the University of Ottawa and an MA in International Affairs from Carleton University, earned through a dual degree program in which she achieved the highest cumulative GPA across all four years, along with awards for top grades in constitutional law. She also completed the University of Victoria's Indigenous Law Summer Intensive in 2016.
