About Karen

Karen M. Hill is an Associate Attorney in Green and Spiegel U.S.'s Philadelphia office, where her practice focuses mainly on business-based and employment-based nonimmigrant visas. Before joining the firm, she spent more than three years as an immigration attorney handling employment- and family-based immigration, removal defense, federal litigation, citizenship and humanitarian relief matters. Earlier still, she spent over a decade with the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Delaware, working across its criminal, civil and bankruptcy divisions first as a paralegal and later as a contract attorney. Hill has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2019 and currently serves on its national Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and co-leads its Women in Immigration Law group. She earned her J.D. from Delaware Law School in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and International Business, cum laude, from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2003.
