About Kainat

Kainat Rizvi joined Dutton Brock in 2024 after articling and practising at a prominent national insurance defence firm. Her litigation practice covers occupiers' liability, personal injury tort actions, product liability, and general negligence, and she has appeared before various courts and administrative tribunals. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of British Columbia and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, where she served as senior editor of the Law Review. She was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2022 and in Ontario in 2024.
