About Kailun

Kailun Chen is a lawyer at Goldblatt Partners who advises trade unions in the government, healthcare, and firefighter sectors through grievance arbitration and other labour disputes. A former journalist, she brings that background to third-party workplace investigations and has a particular interest in disability and mental health issues. Kailun earned her law degree at the University of Toronto after working as a radio producer and newspaper reporter, where her reporting on workplace safety and human trafficking won awards. During law school she worked as a caseworker at Downtown Legal Services, advocated for refugee rights with the Asper Centre for Constitutional Rights, and was part of the winning team at the Wilson Constitutional Law Moot.
