About Courtney
Courtney Palmer works across the full range of family law issues, from parenting disputes to complicated property and income questions, and she has particular experience with cases touching on mental health and substance use. She uses negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation depending on what best serves a client, aiming to head off problems before they grow into bigger conflicts. Courtney articled at Epstein Cole and was welcomed into the partnership in 2023. She earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013, where she won the Weisbrot Prize in Advanced Family Law, along with an honours BA in Economics and Psychology from Queen's University. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2014 and takes part in the Ontario Bar Association and the Association of Family Conciliation Courts.
