About Justin

Justin Nasseri is a partner at Ross Nasseri whose litigation practice covers complex commercial, estates, and regulatory and public law disputes, with particular experience in injunctions, trials, and appeals. He has appeared before numerous tribunals, including the Financial Services Tribunal, the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board, and discipline committees of Ontario health colleges, as well as arbitral panels, every level of court in Ontario, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Justin has over 60 reported decisions to his name, including successfully defending a developer in a $32 million regulatory prosecution trial, co-leading a challenge to the will of a tobacco magnate, and overturning a $9 million contempt judgment at the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He also represented PEN Canada in a constitutional challenge to a false statements prohibition in federal election law. He was called to the Ontario bar in 2013 and has been recognized by Benchmark Litigation, Best Lawyers, Chambers and Partners, and Lexpert, and received the inaugural Ontario Bar Association Civil Litigation Emerging Leader Award in 2025.
