About Julie
Julie Kern is a personal injury lawyer who joined Preszler Injury Lawyers in 2018. She completed her LL.B. with Honours at Kingston University London in 2011, after earlier finishing a B.A. at the University of Waterloo in 2009, and while at Kingston she served as an executive member of the University Law Association and as Student Liaison to the Law School Executive Board. She was also selected to represent the university at the International Mediation Competition. Before entering law, Julie worked in the film and theatre industry, an experience she credits with sharpening her courtroom presence and her ability to think on her feet. She has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario, and also represents clients through private settlements and mediation. Outside the office, she serves on the Executive Board of Prime Earth, a non-profit focused on sustainability and environmental education.
