About Anna

Anna Karlen is a trial lawyer at Preszler Law's Toronto office, handling complex personal injury claims with a particular focus on sexual assault matters. She started out in 2008 as a civil litigator in Vancouver before spending over sixteen years as defence counsel for a major insurer, appearing before all levels of court in British Columbia. That background gives her a distinctive perspective when representing injured clients, including those with catastrophic conditions such as traumatic brain injury, paralysis or serious psychiatric harm. Anna is fluent in German and Swiss German and can converse in French, and she is licensed to practise in both Ontario and British Columbia. She earned her B.A. and LL.B. from the University of British Columbia, graduating in 2007.
