About Tom

Tom Macmillan joined Rogers Partners as an associate following his call to the bar in 2010 and now practices as a partner with a broad civil litigation focus. He has appeared before the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court of Justice, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in insurance litigation. His caseload includes occupiers' liability, motor vehicle accidents, statutory accident benefits, property loss, and insurance coverage disputes. He also spent time on an extended secondment with a major retail client of the firm, gaining experience with commercial, privacy, and contractual issues. Tom holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours B.A. from Queen's University, and belongs to the Advocates' Society, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association.
