About Jason

Jason Gilbert is a founding partner of Addelman Baum Gilbert and a trial lawyer who has practised in Ottawa and the surrounding area since 2002. He litigates in both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, before judge and jury, representing clients on criminal charges including impaired driving, drug offences, domestic assault, homicide, sexual offences, theft, and fraud. He also represents parents in Children's Aid Society child protection proceedings. He has handled complex, lengthy matters such as Dangerous and Long-Term Offender hearings and has done appellate work at the Ontario Court of Appeal. Jason offers individually structured payment plans and has represented clients who qualify for Ontario's Legal Aid coverage.
