About Ariya
Ariya Sheivari is a lawyer at Addelman Baum Gilbert LLP practising criminal defence and child protection law. He completed his undergraduate studies in philosophy and kinesiology at York University in Toronto before moving to Ottawa in 2015 to study law at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where he focused on criminal law and interned with local criminal defence firms. He graduated in 2018, articled in criminal defence and child protection law with an Ottawa firm, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019, joining Addelman Baum Gilbert the same year. He offers services in English and Farsi and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the County of Carleton Law Association, and the Defence Counsel Association of Ottawa.
