About Joseph

Joseph Addelman is a founding partner of the criminal law firm Addelman Baum Gilbert LLP. He graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2004 and has practised exclusively as a criminal defence lawyer since then, following his father Richard Addelman into the field. He has argued hundreds of trials at all levels of court, with cases spanning drug offences, impaired driving, homicide, spousal assault, and firearms charges. He completed his undergraduate studies at Concordia University, where he was named to the Dean's List and graduated cum laude, and later earned an LL.M. in International Human Rights in London, England.
