About Jamie
Jamie Marie provides advice and representation to clients in all aspects of family law, including child protection, and favours a practical, outside-the-box approach to settling matters outside of court. She believes clients are the experts on their family's needs and that involving them in creating solutions leads to a healthier outcome with less litigation. Before law, she taught high school English and worked for two Ottawa Members of Provincial Parliament, after earning a conjoint B.A. in English and B.Ed. from Memorial University of Newfoundland and a Master's of Library Science from the University of Toronto. Jamie Marie completed her Juris Doctorate from the University of Ottawa in 2012 and was called to the Bar in 2014. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the County of Carleton Law Association and the County of Lanark Law Association, and regularly travels to Perth for clients in the Lanark, Leeds and Grenville area.
