About Stephen
Stephen M. Pender is a graduate of the University of Ottawa's Common Law Program and was called to the Bar in 1998, beginning his practice in general litigation. He was a partner at Pender & Leef for 19 years before opening his own firm, Pender Law, in 2018. He represents parents and children in child protection and family law proceedings and has appeared as counsel in numerous family and child protection trials as well as on appeals. With over 25 years of experience in family law and child protection matters, he provides representation across the full range of family law services, from case consultations through trial.
