About Jessica
Jessica Cohen is Senior Counsel and a Team Lead at Nussbaum Law. She graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013, was called to the bar in 2014, and has practiced family law exclusively ever since, handling divorce, custody and access, mobility, support, property division, and child protection matters. Before law school she earned a master's degree in psychology studying anxiety, conflict, and decision making, which she draws on to help clients manage stress and resolve conflict. She is currently completing mediation training to become a certified family mediator, has authored journal articles and blog posts, and sits on Legal Aid Ontario's Child Protection, Family, and Domestic Violence panels.
