About Isa
Isa Jeziah Dookie helps clients resolve construction and engineering disputes through litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and drafts and negotiates construction, design, and engineering contracts. Before turning to law, he worked as a practising engineer and researcher in electrical and computer engineering, including on electrical transmission projects in the Caribbean. After qualifying as a barrister in England and Wales, he practised at a civil litigation firm in Trinidad and Tobago, arguing matters up to the UK Privy Council, and later worked in-house drafting contracts for a Canadian engineering multinational. Isa holds degrees from the University of London, BPP Law School, Hugh Wooding Law School, Osgoode Hall, and the University of the West Indies, and was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 after earlier calls in England and Wales and in Trinidad and Tobago.
