About Jacob
Jacob Jones is an associate whose economics background informs his work on litigation strategy, contractual interpretation, risk allocation, and the assessment of damages, costs and interest. He has managed large document productions, analyzed evidence for complex disputes, and independently carried his own Small Claims Court files through to resolution. Before joining the firm, he researched environmental law, municipal development agreements and procurement issues at another firm, and as a University of Toronto research assistant he contributed to work on Canadian and comparative constitutional law and studied advanced microeconomics and competition policy. Jacob holds a JD and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with first class honours from the University of Calgary, and he was called to the Ontario bar in 2024.
