About Jamie
Jamie Aylward's business law practice covers mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, banking, and corporate finance, along with broader corporate, commercial, and governance matters. He has worked on numerous complex transactions, approaching each from a practical standpoint aimed at workable legal and business outcomes for clients. Before joining Torkin Manes, where he was named a partner in December 2025, he practised at another corporate law firm in Toronto. He holds a J.D. (Hons.) from Bond University (2016) and a B.A. from Dalhousie University (2008), was called to the Ontario bar in 2017, and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
