About Harshini
Harshini Arumugam is an associate at Pink Larkin who assists on labour law, employment law, and human rights matters. She earned her J.D. from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, where she specialized in Aboriginal and Indigenous Law, after completing an honours degree in Law and Legal Studies with a minor in Gender Studies at Carleton University. During law school she was involved with the Dalhousie Feminist Legal Association, the Law Students' Society, the Peer Mentor Program, and the Pro Bono Clinic. She received the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society's Race and the Law Paper Prize for a paper on racial justice in labour law, later published in the Dalhousie Legal Journal, and won the Muriel Duckworth Award upon graduation. She was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2026.
