About Jeff

Jeff Aucoin is Office Lead Partner in McInnes Cooper's Halifax office, an experienced litigator focused on construction, commercial and leasing disputes and property litigation. He advises property developers and commercial contractors on legal issues that arise throughout a project's life, including construction disputes, liens and contract drafting, and works to help clients avoid disputes by engaging with their operations early on. Jeff is ranked by Benchmark Canada in commercial law, product liability and construction law, and by the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in commercial insurance litigation. He earned his LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 2004 and an M.B.A., also from Dalhousie, in 1997, and was called to the Nova Scotia bar in 2005.
