About Gregory
Gregory Rhone is an associate at Velletta Pedersen Christie focusing on medical malpractice and personal injury claims, along with estate litigation and other civil litigation matters. Born in Vancouver and raised in Victoria, he studied sciences, English, classics, political science, and philosophy as an undergraduate before graduating from the University of Victoria's law school in 1998 and being called to the bar in February 1999. He's argued cases in the British Columbia Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, and Provincial Court, and previously worked for the federal and BC governments developing policy on freedom of information, privacy, and consumer protection. He contributed a chapter to the book Voluntary Codes: Private Governance, the Public Interest and Innovation. He's a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association, and has volunteered with the CBA's Lawyer Referral Service for more than 20 years.
