About Grace
Grace O'Brien is an associate at Davies Howe LLP who practices municipal law along with land use planning and land development matters. She completed her articling at the firm and was called to the Ontario bar in June 2021. She has appeared before the Ontario Land Tribunal, Toronto Local Appeal Body, various municipal councils and committees of adjustment, the Ontario Divisional Court, and the Ontario Court of Justice. Grace holds an honours degree in Environmental Science from McGill University, where her thesis on urban heat received first-class honours, and she earned her law degree from Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law, winning awards in public law and property law along the way. She has co-authored several Ontario Bar Association articles on inclusionary zoning and expropriation reform.
