About David
David Fenicky is a partner in Davies Howe LLP's litigation group, with a practice focused primarily on insurance-related matters alongside employment law and property loss claims. He was called to the Ontario bar in June 2011. Before joining Davies Howe in 2019, he worked in-house for an international financial services company and later acted as plaintiff's counsel at a boutique personal injury firm, experience that now informs how he approaches disputes from both sides of the table. David has acted for both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving property and casualty coverage, life and health insurance, employment disputes and product liability claims, appearing before all levels of court in Ontario. He also works as a mediator and completed a negotiation and dispute resolution program at Harvard Law School in 2023. David is trilingual, assisting clients in English, French and Spanish, and holds an LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick and a B.A. from Western University.
