Gloria Ng is a co-founder of Platform Litigation and obtained her law degree from the University of British Columbia, where she was called to the British Columbia bar in 2009. She has represented clients facing serious charges including murder, manslaughter, drug trafficking, kidnapping, and unlawful confinement, as well as fraud, assault, and mischief matters. Ng regularly mounts constitutional challenges involving search and seizure, unlawful arrest and detention, and right to counsel, and is often retained to represent complainants in sexual assault cases on privacy applications. She has appeared in every level of court in British Columbia, including the Supreme Court of Canada. Ng is president of the Criminal Defence Advocacy Society and a member of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers and the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers, and has served as faculty for several CBA and CLEBC courses. She speaks Cantonese fluently and Mandarin conversationally.
