About Alice

Alice Vo is a co-founder of Platform Litigation and practices in all areas of criminal law. She has defended clients in jury and non-jury trials against charges including murder, drug offences, sexual assault, kidnapping, conspiracy, and theft, and has served as co-counsel on serious and complex cases. Her practice includes Charter challenges and advice on complex constitutional issues. Vo received her J.D. from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia after completing a Bachelor of Arts at York University focused on forensic psychology and wrongful convictions. She was called to the bar in 2016. Vo speaks Vietnamese and regularly assists clients whose primary language is Vietnamese, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Criminal Defence Advocacy Society, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers, and the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers.
