About Amila
Amila Paranagama is a Barrister and Solicitor specializing in immigration law and civil litigation, called to the Bar of the Law Society of British Columbia in 2021 after completing the NCA program and the Law Society admission program. She previously practised for 12 years as an Attorney at Law in Sri Lanka and has over 10 years of experience teaching contract law, criminal law, commercial law, and tort law, lecturing for the University of London LLM and LLB programs, the University of Staffordshire LLB program, and Sri Lanka Law College. She holds a Master of Law in International Commercial Law from the University of West London, an MBA from Edith Cowan University in Australia, and a Bachelor of Law from the University of London, and is a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
