About Elias

Elias Jimenez Gonzalez practices in all areas of workplace law, drawing on his experience serving underrepresented communities and his own background as a first-generation immigrant. He has advocated for clients at all levels of court in British Columbia. During law school at the University of Alberta, he represented the school in the National Labour Arbitration Moot and the National Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot, winning the Top Oralist Team award. He was program coordinator for the University of Alberta's Pro Bono Students Canada chapter and worked with Student Legal Services of Edmonton, including establishing its Special Initiatives Project and leading development of its Human Rights Project. He serves on the board of directors of the Canadian Hispanic Bar Association.
